Sidi Wire 2 Carbon Air Road Shoes offers comfort, breathability, and durability, engineered with many great features. Wire 2 Carbon Air road shoes come with a well-perforated upper for extra ventilation when temps are on the rise, and a lower dial relocated to the top of the tongue for a more secure fit for equal tension across the whole foot. The instep strap has been made a bit narrower too, with more flex and the addition of padded edges to further improve comfort.

Sidi uses it’s own designed dials, the Tecno-3, which are most notably known for the adjustments of each of the shoe’s instep and forefoot buckles and is significantly more intuitive and easier to do while in the saddle. The Wire 2 Carbon Air bike shoes are easily loosened with a pinch of both buttons on either side of the buckle to unwind the line closure, or you can toggle each button for extremely precise incremental adjustments. To tighten the shoe, just open the buckle’s switch and wind the buckle, it is that easy. Sidi uses a supple, low-friction line material for smooth buckle action; you get the perfect fit every time. One more feature to keep your foot where it needs to be is the Heel security system, keeping your foot planted in the shoe. Using a small Allen key, the heel strap is adjustable; the rigid composite band closes the shoe more securely over the heel to anchor it in place.

Finally, the sole of the Sidi Wire 2 Carbon Air road shoe are handled by the Vent Carbon Sole, complete with replaceable, polyurethane heel pad to improve walkability and a replaceable, integrated toe pad/vent cover.  The sole has efficient power transfer, aids in all-weather comfort, with special attention to the layup of the carbon fiber to maximize stiffness for ultimate pedaling power.
