The Giro Manifest MIPS Spherical Mountain Helmet is geared towards hot weather riding with revolutionary technology for enhanced biking safety. Powered by MIPS, Spherical Technology utilizes a similar slip-plane construction as MIPS for great impact absorption at angular crashes. The Spherical technology opts for two layers of foam with a slip-plane between the two, instead of a plastic liner as in a standard MIPS system. This redirects impact energy by rotating the exterior liner independent of the interior liner, which in turn enables a greater advantage of improved ventilation.
Designed with nineteen Wind Tunnel vents, all amplified thanks to Aura’s reinforcement around the arch. The helmet is made with XT2 padding, providing a comfortable fit that wicks away sweat, dries quickly, and reduces odors. Giro redesigned the Roc Loc Trail Air Fit System for enhanced durability and strength. The Manifest MIPS Spherical Mountain Helmet has a visor that adjusts to accommodate eyewear and goggles, and Giro includes grippers to make sure your eyewear stays put.
