Sidi is celebrating their 60th birthday by creating a brand new cycling shoe, the Sidi Sixty Road shoe.
The highlights featured on the new SIXTY Road shoe include the latest in Sidi Technology applied to the closure mechanism, which was inspired by other top-shelf models like the Shot and the Wire 2 Carbon. Sidi technology evolution the Tecno-4 has a single rotor to reduce the weight of the shoe and guarantees a micrometric and precise closure. The new Tecno-4 features emphasis on the rapid release of tension, undeniably a big improvement over the other Sidi mechanisms.
With an integrated vent and air channels for heat dissipation and airflow the Sidi SIXTY Road shoe has trademarked its system for maximizing airflow to the foot. The vent carbon sole not only has superior power transfer, because of its lightweight and stiffness but also warm weather comfort. For triathlon, the vent also serves as a water drain, dramatically improving foot comfort after a wet transition.
Made with a carbon fiber upper with a weave pattern oriented at opposing angles maximizing stiffness while allowing for a small degree of controlled flex in the toe area. The heel is reinforced to avoid deformations after prolonged efforts and usage. Anatomically shaped, the heel stabilizes and supports the foot while pedaling.
The SIXTY Road shoe features a standard 3-hole drilling pattern printed 10mm lateral and fore/aft cleat alignment scale as well as the look memory eyelet for easy cleat alignment and replacement. Made with a replaceable polyurethane heel pad for walkability.
