The new Lake CX201 could be a real game changer in finding a comfortable road cycling shoe. It was designed with the natural shape of a foot in mind in which the benefits are that it allows the toes to relax and naturally spread out in the toe box, also allowing the foot to naturally balance excess pronation. To eliminate any confusion, the CX201 is not specified as a wide width shoe but it offers a wider toe box than some specified wide width shoes. The broad carbon composite outsole allows for more space but does not lose any support and provides excellent power transfer. The clarino microdiber, nufoam mesh upper materal provides s a lightweight feel and extreme breathability. The soles wide platform and flexible upper should accomodate even the most stubborn shaped foot.
