Cold and wet weather is not that hard to prepare for, you will be warm and dry with the Shimano SH-MW501 Winter Mountain Bike Shoe. The Shimano SH-MW501 Winter Mountain Bike shoe is not the top of the line but they are unsung heroes when it comes to riding in inclement weather. They have a fleece-lined insole andsynthetic leather upper (perforated outer layer, sealed underneath), and a robust neoprene ankle gusset that keeps splashes and dirt out of the shoe. The heel cup locks in easily and is well defined. They fit perfectly well with room for a bulky sock. These shoes feature a speedlace system making them easy to fasten with two ankle flaps that close over each other and a Velcro closure to hold them in place. Finish by pulling the lace cover across to form a nice comfortable tight fit over the top of the ankle.
