Specialized Recon 1.0 Mountain Bike Shoes

The Specialized Recon 1.0 Mountain bike shoe is a comfortable, durable, efficient, dirt-focused shoe.  Using Specialized’s exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outsole uses a TPU injected forefoot for natural movement while off the bike, while still providing stiffness with an index rating of 6 for on the bike performance. For assured traction in wet or dry conditions, the nylon outsole is covered with SlipNot compound for added stability. The Recon 1.0 Mountain bike shoe features Body Geometry soles and footbeds that help boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury. Three Velcro closures make slipping into the Specialized Recon 1.0 easy, and creates a fit designed for all day comfort, whether your ride calls for open gravel, twisting single track, and a fair share of hike-a-bike.
